PORT- "Foi a primeira vez que fiz aulas de inglês que não eram vinculadas a algum curso. Confesso que eu temia a forma sobre como seria esta experiência. Mas eu não podia me impressionar de uma forma melhor! Até hoje faltei a apenas uma aula, em vários meses de curso, coisa que nunca havia conseguido em outros cursos, já que faltava bastante. As aulas tem a vantagem de serem bem flexíveis, os alunos podem alterar o fluxo das aulas de forma que fique mais agradável a turma, fora o fato de que a nossa professora sempre pergunta qual o desejo dos alunos em relação as próximas matérias e formas de terem as aulas. Além das aulas, hoje digo que ganhei uma grande amiga, e ela é uma das pessoas mais interessantes e amáveis que conheço! Se eu indicaria para outra pessoa? ENG- "This was the first time I took English classes that were not part of a course. I admit that I worried about what to expect from this experience. But I couldn't be more impressed! Up until now, I have only missed one class in many months of study, something that I was never capable of in other courses since I missed often. These classes have the advantage of being flexible, the students can alter the flow in such a way that is best for the group, besides the fact that she always asks what the students want to learn in terms of upcoming subjects or ways to structure the class. Outside of class, today I can say that I gained a great friend, my teacher is one of the most interesting and lovable people I know. Would I recommend her? SPAN- "Hola, Me llamo Manolo Pinto, cuando estudiaba en la PUC - Rio vi un anuncio de una professora sobre aulas particulares de ingles, justo en esa epoca estaba buscando aprender y mejorar mi inglés para buscar trabajo, decidi llamarla y desde el primer dia fue espectacular, aprendi mucho de una forma rapida y divertida. Al poco tiempo mi ingles fue mejorando rapidamente y nuestra amistad fue creciendo mucho, pues ya no eramos alumno y profesora sino en cambio dos buenos amigos. Actualmente me encuentro en Peru mi pais de nacimiento y me va bien... no hubiese logrado conseguir un buen empleo sin la ayuda de mi profesora, a la cual le escribo cada cierto tiempo porque somos muy pero muy buenos amigos. ENG- "Hello, my name is Manolo Pinto. When I was studying at PUC-Rio, I saw an advertisement by a professor who gave private English classes. This was right at the time when I was looking to learn and improve my English in order to look for work. I decided to call and since the first day, it was spectacular. I learned so much in a quick and fun way. Little by little, my English got better and our friendship grew, we were no longer professor and student but good friends. Today I am back in my homeland of Peru and it is going well...I wouldn't have been able to get such a good job without her help, who I write to once in a while because we are such good friends. Even though the class environment is always a little more informal, the comprehension is never compromised, on the contrary, the learning becomes much more enjoyable and the results appear faster."

PORT- "Gosto muito das aulas. São bem prazerosas. Depois de tentar alguns cursos, finalmente sinto que estou aprendendo e não preciso fazer muita força. A "teacher" tem boa didática e sabe conduzir muito bem a aula. O método é bem eficiente. Sinto que estou realmente melhorando."

PORT- "Gosto das aulas porque são dinâmicas. Não ficamos presos somente aos livros. A professora sempre tras coisas novas para a aula o que facilita e motiva o aprendizado. Sem contar que aprender com uma americana me fez entender pronúncias de palavras que não conseguia entender nos cursos tradicionais."
ENG- "I like the classes because they are dynamic. We don't spend so much time buried in the books. My teacher always brings new things to class which motivates us and makes learning easier. Not to mention that learning with an American helps me to understand word pronunciation that I was unable to understand in the traditional courses. "
PORT- "As aulas com a minha professora foram excelentes, me motivavam a estudar, me sentia prestigiado pela metodologia e sentia que as aulas eram feitas pensando em cada aluno do grupo. No fim das contas o custo benefício era muito melhor que fazer um curso tradicional numa escola de línguas com seus processos engessados. Tínhamos um curso totalmente fluido, que se adaptava naturalmente às necessidades, ao ritmo e aos interesses dos alunos. Ela também ficava atenta às dificuldades mais comuns nas conversações e aparecia nas aulas seguintes com material apropriado para aperfeiçoar as dificuldades pontuais que cada aluno apresentava, dando importância ao conteúdo que realmente precisávamos estudar, sem se amarrar a um programa linear. Além disso tínhamos materiais diversos, desde músicas, filmes, dinâmicas, jogos, palestras, notícias, textos literários etc, materiais interessantes e não com situações pré-programadas como nos livros didáticos dos cursos tradicionais. Na maioria das vezes discutíamos assuntos do nosso interesse e as aulas iam sendo construídas naturalmente de forma interessante e atraente cujas 2h de aulas eram muito agradáveis e de muito aprendizado sempre. Recomendo muito as aulas particulares ou em grupo. Pra mim foi uma experiência única que me fez de fato conseguir aperfeiçoar meu inglês num nível que eu me sinto confortável para ler os livros que preciso pra minha profissão, ou arriscar um bate papo com alguém em alguma situação que necessite, além de termos aprendido muito sobre a cultura americana, ter uma professora da nossa faixa etária e que demonstra muita paixão por ensinar sua língua nativa. Com certeza foi um excelente investimento."
ENG- "Classes with my teacher were excellent, they motivated me to study, I felt like the methodology honored what was offered and the classes were created with each student in mind. In the long run, it was much more beneficial than taking a traditional class at a language school with their rigid processes. We had a completely fluid course, that naturally adapted to the needs, rhythm and interests of the students. She was also attentive to the most common difficulties we had in conversation and came to class the following week with appropriate material to perfect the precise difficulties that each student had, giving importance to content that we really needed to study, without being tied to a linear program. Furthermore, we had diverse materials from songs, movies, activities, games, lectures, news articles, literary texts etc, interesting materials and not pre-designed situations like in the work books in the traditional courses. Most of the time, we discussed subjects we were interested in and the classes were naturally built in an interesting and attractive way. Their two hours of length were very pleasant and we always learned a lot. I highly recommend the private or group classes. For me, it was a unique experience that helped me to actually perfect my English to a level that I currently feel comfortable reading the books I need for my job, or to risk chatting with someone when necessary. More than just learning so much about American culture, we had a teacher in our age group and that showed such passion for teaching her native language. It was definitely an excellent investment."
