The i2i (or Instituto Dois Irmãos) is a language institute/NGO located in the Rocinha favela. Here, volunteers come from all over the world to teach English or other skills such as technology, theater, film, art, dance, or whatever you have to offer. The students come in a range of ages and levels and they are always looking for new volunteers. Here you will feel part of a thriving and lively community. Saúde Criança provides low-income children and their families with the tools they need to become healthy for the long-term. It treats disease by tackling the root problem of poverty and ensures health by empowering whole families to become economically and socially self-sufficient.
